swing dancing date

This is what I will be wearing for the dance I'm going to. There were some complications with the dress, as in the zipper broke and I almost got stuck in it the other night. But I since went back to Forever 21 and bought a new one, with functioning zipper.

my new love

I bought these Sunday at Scavenger Hunt, a vintage store in East Lansing. They have amazing stuff. I actually wrote an article about the shop.

vintage Tony Lama boots, $40 (steal!!)

newspaper dress

I made this for one of my apparel classes. It is made completely out of newspaper. There is some electrical tape for accents and fishing line as the waistband.

aleksandra wisniewska

Just found this new designer today. I love the color combinations, despite the collection being for spring some of it is a little dark. Though, the materials lighter and float very nicely on the body. I really enjoy the white dress, with what looks like a butterfly in the center. It would look adorable with my new boots (which I will post pictures of later).

The only info I could find on him and the textile industry was he skipped out on a questionnaire, according to the Huffington Post.
