I got this shade in Shutterspeed (soft shimmering vanilla taupe/ soft charcoal/ matte bisque). I love it! I bought it for the neutral, or vanilla taupe as smashbox calls it.

It took like 10 minutes at the makeup store for me to find the right color. My mom thought I was being ridiculous. Anyway, I bought it for that color. Then used the darker shade for my flapper makeup. It worked wonderfully!



This I bought in Crash, a metallic purple. I had wanted the heavy metal glitter liner, but it turned out to be just that. Glitter. And I actually wanted color. I haven't tried it out yet. But it worked nicely on my hand at the store. :)

this one of my outfits for fall. hoodie, jeans, flats. I need to add some boots. I'll make sure to wear them sometime this week. also, my halloween costume has come together nicely. I make sets for it and some other costumes I saw and/or created for my friends. :)

concert ideal

This is what I would like my outfit to be on Friday for the concert I am going to. However, I think I may have to make adjustments.

I hereby proclaim Russia as the new 'thing.' 

There was an article in the New York Times about a week ago regarding the editor of Vogue Russia. She has been dubbed Russia's Anna Wintour. 

Today Sephora bought 45 percent state in Russian selective perfume chain Il de Beaute, according to WWD. 

And I love Russian authors. 

GO International

Jonathan Saunders is the new design for Target's GO International line. He has a lot of colorblock prints. His favorite colors seem to be blue, cilantro and black, and I'm not complaining. I really like how he has the colors co with each other. The 'looks' he has are better then the single pieces.

The whole line was sooo...pretty. It took quite some time to pick only a few items. I liked the color palettes and the way all the fabrics laid.

I want it. It would be so much fun for concerts or even dressing up. I love the purple color. I am going to a concert next week and am debating whether to spend the $18 at Sephora for it. This is a toughy.

I really like the leather leggings idea. I think it is so fun. One of my friends has a pair and they look really hot on her. I'm considering buying another pay on my next shopping excursion.
